The South East New Territories (SENT) Landfill Extension Part at TKO will be in operation from 21st Nov 2021Date: 2021/11/17Informed by EPD, the South East New Territories (SENT) Landfill Extension Part located at TKO will in operation from 21st Nov 2021. The new entrance of SENT Landfill will start operating on 21-Nov-2021. Use of the current entrance gate will be stopped on the same day. Please find the attached diagram for the arrangement of the new route. Please feel free to contact EPD at 2706 8722 for any enquires.

Mercury Control BillDate: 2021/11/05Following the passage of the Mercury Control Bill by the Legislative Council on 23 June 2021, the Mercury Control Ordinance (Cap. 640) ("the Ordinance") had been gazetted on 2 July 2021 and will come into effect on 1 December 2021. A brief introduction on the regulatory regime under the Ordinance is set out at the Annex.
